I'll remember all my life Back when I was 25 You came into my life Nothing ever felt so right And I could stay there with you all night I'll remember every sigh With you there by my side Nothing every felt so right As back when I was 25 And I could stay there with you all night You're so so beautiful You're backs incredible Your hair smells edible And I could stay there with you all night I'll remember every time Like it was my last time Sleeping on your bed past 9 Back when I was 25 And I could stay there with you all night You're so so beautiful You're backs incredible Your hair smells edible And I could stay there with you all night

Slow down I go, the final hole, thats ever Been dug for me, I know its not my time Much to do, so says you, but in your Eyes you feel it, you can't conceal it this time It knew you, but you fell through, on all those Words that you said, floating through my head Back when I loved you and you did too You said when we were young enough To know the truth so did you, You said when we were young enough The days fly by but behind your Eyes were all the times you wish you hadn't lied The day before you died So down I go, the only road, I've ever Known to be true, you know its not you but I've Wasted time on tonic wine but was there Something bigger, could I have done better, now Retired hindsight and long dark nights are all thats Waiting for me where I can recall on times... When I loved you and you did too You said when we were young enough To know the truth so did you, You said when we were young enough The days fly by but behind your Eyes were all the times you wish you hadn't lied The day before you died It's long gone So long

Getting By 03:27
And now your hearts confused You know that you must choose When is it right to fight or lose? The one you held so dear Has now brought you to tears So let her go or live in fear Years down the line Are you doing fine? You never found the time But still you're getting by And you don't understand The world was in your hands You sit around you can't make plans The things you kept inside The ghosts that haunt your mind They will not rest til peace they find Never had no one to buy, your shoes she knows your size, and all the while you're getting by. Never had no one to make your sandwiches for break and all the while you're getting by. Never had no one to lay and stick around today but all the while you're getting by.

Rise and fall Walk or crawl You only know what you've been taught Walking tall Make that call You know its not your fault to... Dream Now you're older Your heart is colder All these white lies on your shoulders Even though You could let go You don't want to conceed control, you just... Screeeam A day goes by And you don't cry You used celebrate tears in your eyes Maybe its fine This love will shine When its ready, just give it time to... Breathe Screeeam Dream Screeeam

Just To Talk 04:23
Not just words, can reveal The way someone really feels Make some time, just be there Make some tea pull up a chair It all helps, makes some room, just to talk Why did I, never say How I feel before today Grab a stool, by the bar Or get cosy by the fire Say the things, we never said, lets just talk I was young, didn't know Who you were or where you'd go In the fields, soldiers roamed Through your country Rookwood home Now you're gone, what I'd give, just to talk Love was lost, long ago But it never stopped the flow What we had, but let go Still some things I'd love to know Speculate, if we could, could just talk My brother, we've outgrown The place we still call our home In my youth, I would run Run to try to keep up with you We don't run, anymore, can we talk? We don't run, anymore, can we talk? Little child, what can I Say to you to help you through All the best, and the worst Things you'll love will make you hurt Just know I'm here when you need to talk It all helps, make some room, just to talk

Doing Time 04:43
I'll never take back The things that I said I wanted it all Got nothing instead Seemed easy for you To do what you did Hearts wants what it wants Is how you qualified it So now you're with him I couldn't believe I thought it couldn't get worse But then it did How I caught your eye And I shook my head You said your goodbyes I should have gone drinking instead Don't do the crime, don't do the time Don't do the crime, don't do the time It's years ago now But I still remember All of the nothings Like our first December Each year it comes round Cold wind lights a spark I forget how it feels That night in the park Don't do the crime, don't do the time Don't do the crime, don't do the time You do the crime, I do the time

about

A long time coming hence the name but very happy with the outcome and a lot of thanks required...

Thanks to Anne Horan for being there for me, keeping me focused
and reassuring me when negative thoughts crept in. Thanks to
Greg Steps for his musical influence, David Butt for housing me
and his biting feedback, Bob Hutchinson for his real advice, Kevin
Murphy, the one person who listened to our songs, gave us a platform
and made it feel like it was worthwhile. Darragh Walsh for letting me
skip on more than a few bills while I was making this album.
Thanks to Prahran City FC for giving me a place in
Australia to feel welcome. All the bars that have kept me in
business (Eamonn/Pat, KerriAnne/Peter, Siobhan, Fin, Martina/Kiwat,
James/John), Rua (Aoife’s dog) for making us look good in the
photos. My family for giving me the material to write the songs!

about

Ciaran Boyle Melbourne, Australia

I've taken a bit of the musicians and people who have positively and negatively influenced me the most and create something out of that experience. I've tried to combine the lyrical content of folk music and combine it with varying melodies and rhythms to give us our sound. ... more
